Between reality and transformation.

By juxtaposing the represented photographic reality and constructive elements like digital processing, Arne Rasmussens create in his works a new image space where represented reality does not exist at any particular time or place, but rather exists as a type of thing—i.e., an artistic visualized idea - a mood by finding and developing common characteristics expression in this thematic series. It is a constant study of the balance inbetween the representative and the formal expression in photography.
